ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Pursuant to Gold Coast Acoustics Music Club Inc. Rules, notice is hereby given of

the Club’s Annual General Meeting to be convened as follows:

Date:           Saturday 2nd  December 2017

Time:           11am – noon *

Location:      Nerang All Sports and Community Club, Leagues Club Drive, Nerang

*After the AGM, why not stay for a drink and/or lunch.

At the time of the Annual General Meeting, the President will declare all

Committee positions vacant in preparation for the election of new office bearers.

COMMITTEE 2018 Nominations

Notice is hereby given that the following nominations for Coast Acoustics Committee 2018 have been received:

  • President:  Tony Obermeit,  (Leonie Schwarzel – nomination declined by the nominee)
  • Secretary:  Dean Morgan
  • Treasurer:  Leonie Milton
  • Committee Members:  Adam Vink, Michael Werts, Allyson Fox,  (Frank Stoove – withdrawn by the nominee)
At the AGM on December 2nd, 2018,at 11:00am at Nerang All Sports Club, Leagues Drive Nerang, the 2017 Committee will vacate their positions and a vote taken by all members present to elect the new committee for 2018.
LIFE MEMBERSHIP Nomination
A nomination has been received and approved by the 2017 committee for Life Membership to Coast Acoustics Musics Club be conferred on Len Lockitt for his many years of outstanding service. Len has served in a range of capacities including committee member, bar manager, volunteer in many roles, community service through music, performer.  The nomination will be tabled at the AGM and a vote taken by all present. Life Membership will be conferred if approved by a two thirds majority.
All members are invited to attend the 1 hour meeting, then purchase lunch and/or cold drink in the air conditioned comfort of the All Sports Club.
Unable to attend? Download and submit your proxy vote now (whereby you pre-vote or nominate a member who is attending to vote on your behalf).  Your proxy will be valid for both the committee and life membership votes.
