APR-18 OPEN MIC GUEST ARTIST – JOHN FEGAN BAND!

John Fegan, singer, songwriter, story teller and lead singer of the iconic Australian folk rock band Rough Red, joins up with a troupe of prodigiously talented friends for a session of songs , story telling and musical mastery. His songs and stories are from far-flung corners of the empire – the legacy of over 20 years playing in some of the great music festivals of the world including The Galway Festival (Ireland), Skagen Festival (Denmark) and The Montreaux Jazz Festival.

The people, the places and the indelible memories are songs from the Rough Red back catalogue and two acclaimed solo albums, Fox Tales and I am The Fox.

Enjoy the ride as John and his band relive his remarkable journey.
On the Fourth Saturday of the month, Coast Acoustics run an Open Mic Session for members, with a featured artist at the end of the day.
The Open Mic runs from 1:00pm to  -3.00 pm, with the feature Artist on between 3:30-4:30pm.  All members are welcome to come along and play, or just come along to listen or socialise. 3 songs allowed per performer.
We also run a  bar with alcohol, and sausage sizzle on the day as well.
No booking required but arrive early to get a spot on the board!
