Open Mics

OPEN MIC – 26th May

NOTE: Starting time is now 12:30pm

Feature Act : Matthew Armitage

Due to illness, we have a change of artist for this Sunday’s event.

We’re excited to introduce Matthew Armitage, a folksy blues and roots singer-songwriter with a unique style. Matthew’s nylon acoustic guitar sounds like a South Pacific blues band, his foot stomp is a modified cajon drum with a 60’s tambourine, and his voice is steeped in the blues tradition. Join us for an afternoon of authentic and soulful music!

12:30 PM to 3:00 PM – Open Mic (White Board Session) Bring your stories, your instruments, your voice, your favourite song- whatever your heart desires. The stage is open to all. It’s your moment to shine in our welcoming, creative community. Sign-ups are first-come, first-served, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot!

3:30 PM to 4:30 PM – Grab a cold drink from our bar, sit back and be entertained by Matthew.

Why our open mic stands out from others

  • Dedicated Audience – Join us in an environment where the music isn’t background noise — it’s the main event. Our guests come for one reason only: to immerse themselves in the artistry and narratives woven through melodies and lyrics.
  • No Distractions – Say goodbye to the distractions of pokies, the footie on TV, or the din of drunks. Our space is a sanctuary for musicians and music lovers alike, ensuring your performance receives the attention it truly deserves.
  • Professional Sound – With a dedicated sound engineer and a well-equipped stage, your music will be heard exactly as you intended. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or stepping onto the stage for the first time, we provide the professional sound setup that your talent deserves.

Three songs or 15 minutes (inclusive of setup and break-down time) allowed per performer.

No booking required but arrive early to get a spot on the board!
